In the Quiet

Ah. You found me.

I have been hiding in the quiet. 

And by quiet... I mean with my really loud and lovely and crass family.

I Just can't say enough about my amazing week with both of my amazing families. 

I am still sitting in Nashville, by the fire, with an irish coffee and my sister. 

I have watched 2 episodes of Shark Tank, about 4 times each.

Drank about 24 cups of coffee, some of which were DDs, which makes me the happiest ever.

Hugged my niece too many times to count.

Kissed my Mom. YESSSSSS.

Ate about 400,000 calories.

Played 17 games of cards & 2 games of Settlers of Catan.

Missed my dog 2003 times.

Stayed up until an average of about 2am every night.

It has just been a dream. Hearing my niece laugh and giggle. Listening to my siblings make inappropriate jokes. Holding hands with my husband for our 3rd Christmas. Being thankful for all the good this year, and being able to mourn with those I love for all that we've lost. Family runs deep and I am forever thankful for mine. 

I hope that you are enjoying the quiet of the season, after all the madness. I am for sure.

It's snowing outside now, and we are making our 4th pot of coffee for the day. So that is my signal.
