Remember that time that my sister was so much cooler than me?

One time I told you, that if you were REALLY nice to me, and promised not to NOT be my friend after I showed you how cool my sister is, that I would fill you in on how awesome her right-out-of-REAL-SIMPLE-magazine her house is.

So I am here today to hold up my end of that bargain.
P p p p pleeeease hold up your end guys. I mean. I might cry. I mean I won't... but I might. 

Just kidding...

But seriously...

To be honest. I wouldn't really blame you.

My sister would never EVER claim to be the most RIDICULOUS DIYer on the planet... But for cry in' out loud... She is. The couch below? She got it off of Freecycle and sewed the cushions herself. Yup. She's that good. And that's only the beginning...

So... Just grab a cup of coffee... Take a moment to prepare to pretend to not to hate your home as you fall in love with hers... and enjoy.





Yea... That shelf holding all of her craft supplies? That was an "I found it on the side of the road" find. DARN YOU LINDSAY!




I asked Lindsay how she finished that dresser... Her reply was that she was trying out a few different types of stain when she was preparing to refinish it, and just happened to like the looks. DARN YOU LINDSAY!

She glued a bunch of spray painted rocks to a lamp. GENIUS!

And yes... She did just find that lovely piece of wood in her shed as is. And put a yellow D on it as she prepares to become a Dammeyer in less than 3 weeks. DARN YOU LINDSAY!!!
And that's it. I couldn't possibly show you anything cooler in the entire world today, than the nest that my big sister has prepared for her and her hunk of a fiancé. They are so cute, they were SO hospitable, and just can't WAIT to show you guys all the DIY madness she has cooking up for her very own wedding. I mean... Seriously.... It's sick.
