Friday, Cryday.

We made it! Another glorious summer weekend is upon us folks…
Today I want to share with you, two things that made me cry this week. Sounds exciting right?
Seriously though… This first one is a GOOD cry.

Here’s the first thing. Yesterday, Tom Hanks shared the sweetest video ever with me and all of his other twitter followers. It’s like he knows me so well, that he knew that I would LOVE this video, and it would make me good cry.
Tom is really funny/thoughtful like that.

Now I knooooooooooooow you guys are probably over the whole “check out how crazy my proposal is, because I am singing/flashmobing/dancing/flashing/flying/superhero powering my fiance!” thing… but… You NEED to watch just one more. Because it will change your life. and I love this song. And the girls reaction is so genuine and precious… That it made me REALLY want to be her friend!

So girl, if you are one of the 1 persons that reads my blogs.. Please contact me at one of my easily accessible social media outlets, found in my right sidebar!
Are you crying? Yea. I thought so.

Just an FYI, the best part of this video is the group’s interpretation of “Dancing Juice” as “Dancing Jews.”

Classic.
Here’s the second thing. I know I am really behind because I haven’t had cable for centuries months, but I was catching up on SNL this week. I had heard wind of the worst thing in the world happening, but I wouldn’t believe it until I saw it.

And this week… I saw it.
This is a horrible video… but I swear it’s the best that Youtube had to offer.
… And weeping. I love you girl. Uh, I just love you so much.
Have a great weekend, Thriftarians! I’ll miss you!

  2. So I had seen something about this proposal on the Today Show last week but never actually saw the video. OMG...cryfest indeed!!! It's so beautiful and thoughtful and fun and whimsical and unique. I love how you see her reaction over and over with each new person. He really thought of every detail. Thank God she said yes b/c if not I would have tried to marry him! lol.

And don't get me started on Kristen Wiig. She is the best ever. LOVE HER. It just won't be the same on SNL without her. :(
    Great post! Thanks for sharing!
